Recording Department

Welcome to the Recording Department of the Green County Clerk's Office.  The goal or our department is to quickly server the public and to efficiently process the documents that are filed here.

Documents recorded in our Records Room include Deeds, Mortgages, Articles, Certificate of Assumed Name, Power of Attorney, Veterans Discharge, Lis Pendens, Liens, etc. In addition, the department is a resource for genealogical research.

The Green County Clerk's Recording Department is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Records may also be searched on Saturday, but no recordings are accepted on Saturday
